Bonnie and Bruce - that is odd, Bonnie, you and I have somewhat
conflicting memories of the day JFK was shot - we were living at
Burtonwood and my memory is that Beth called from the Embassy to tell
Mom and Dad, while we were having lunch... So, I am not sure why they
would not have known by the time you got back from the Newlin's...

I told Bruce my main memory of him was my picking him  up (in our '57
Chevrolet) almost at dawn and going out to the Nejapa Country Club to
play tennis while it was cool... We'd each have our own ball-boy of
course.  Those were the days!!

How nice we all were about going to the airport for each other...  Great
bunch of kids... Bruce, I did not know that all Americans were not like
you guys...  As Bonnie said, we had many surprises upon coming to live
in the USA which we had never done before in our entire lives - we were
all born and raised in Mexico.

Bruce were your parents military?  Were you all from Austin?
