Jon and Swen had a little brother - I think we called him Pepe - but his name was Joe. Their family was in Oklahoma for a while and he came to Austin with his mom once and stopped in to say hello to the Newlins. Don't know where he ended up. What ever happened to Peter?

I had forgotten about the bowling alley at the CC. What a fun place. Life was totally a bummer when we came back to the states after having been waited on hand and foot down there by a maid, a cook and a yard man.
And I seem to remember the same thing about Dr. Bizbee being on the Andreadoria - someone was telling that story back then also.
I also remember leaving the CC with Claudine one day with someone else driving - maybe it was Swen. There were three of us in the back seat, but can't remember who else besides me. We had a blowout and were headed straight for a telephone poll and at the last minute the driver swerved and we hit it broadside. No one was hurt, but Claudine's dad was really mad and we all had to lie and say Claudine had been driving.
I also had this horse named "Cartucho". He was a pretty good horse, but when you headed him back toward home, he would take off - like a "cartucho". Bruce was riding him one day and headed home. When they got to the house, the horse took a sharp right to go in the gate, but Bruce kept going straight and landed on his butt in the middle of the road. I never did figure out how his long leg got over the saddle. When we left, we sold him to the Ablanedos or McGraws or someone, and our yard man (can't remember his name) kept going down to their house and stealing him. I don't know who ended up with the horse.
