What a story! The historical reference I'm familiar with is (I think) Sir Walter
Raleigh doing that for the Queen of England. It's like Dr. Bisbee spontaneously
transported himself into a play. As I was reading your account, I was thinking,
"cool, but he didn't really put the coat down, did he? REALLY?" Fascinating if a
bit odd. Certainly I remember Mr. Bisbee as a bit odd, but this will make a
wonderful scene in our screenplay. Jack Nicholson as Dr. Bisbee! ROFLMAO
